About Christina
Christina Sappey was elected in 2018 to the PA House of Representatives to serve the 158th legislative district. Known to many as Chris, she has worked in the community, the private business sector and as a senior staffer for three state legislators.
As Representative, Christina works to form practical coalitions and partnerships to pursue opportunities and solve problems. She believes in renewing our infrastructure and creating a sustainable growth economy for the 21st century. Quality education, healthcare, physical and economic security, and the preservation of our environment are critical issues on her agenda.
Christina currently serves on the PA House Committees on Agriculture & Rural Affairs, Local Government, and Veterans Affairs & Emergency Preparedness. She is the elected Democratic Southeast Delegation Vice-Chair and appointed member of the bi-partisan, bi-cameral PA Local Government Commission. She also serves as a member of the Autism and Intellectual Disabilities Caucus, Blue-Green, Climate Caucus, Ladies of the House, Mental Health Caucus, PA SAFE Caucus, and Women’s Health Caucus.
